Q.How long is Belgrove’s hire period?
- Our hire period is NOT 24 hours.
- Our hire period runs off our opening hours from 7:30 – 5:00pm.
- We may be able to arrange a night before pickup or morning after drop off, depending on equipment availability and prior bookings (this must be pre-arranged with us)
Q. What are Belgrove Hire’s pick up and drop off times?
- Weekdays: Pick up from 7.30am on the day of hire. Return by 5.00pm on the same day
- Weekends: Pickup from Saturday 8am – 12pm or Friday night before close (by prior arrangement only ) . Return 7.30am on Monday morning
- Ask us about our ‘great value weekend rate’ for select items, and a ‘2 days for 1’ for some items across our range of equipment.
Q. What equipment does Belgrove hire out?
Our range of equipment for hire in Geelong and district includes:

Q. If I’m able to pick the equipment up myself, am I able to?
- Yes you most certainly can. Simply contact us to ensure we have the equipment you need available at the time you need it.
- Belgrove Hire is based in South Geelong, a central pick-up location for our customers throughout Geelong, the Surf Coast Shire and Bellarine Peninsula.
Q. Is your equipment maintained after each use?
- Of course! Safety is important at Belgrove Hire and we test and service our equipment after each hire.
- Equipment is maintained and serviced as required.
Q. Do I need a license to operate a Scissor Lift and other access equipment?
- No license required for any Belgrove Hire access equipment!
Q. Do I need a license to operate a Dingo, Excavator or mini-loader?
- No license required for any Belgrove Hire Excavation & Earthmoving equipment.
Q. Is Belgrove Hire a wet or dry hire service?
- Belgrove Hire is a DRY HIRE agency
- Our equipment does not come with an operator
